I was hoping that you would help me find a home for this beautiful kitty.
His name is Howard. He is a 2 year old abandoned house cat who showed up at my feral cat colony. I realized he looked very thin and when I pet him I could feel that he was starved. Not having a place for him, I started caring for him outside and wormed him hoping this would help him to put on some weight. For weeks he stayed thin and started looking ill.
His condition concerned me so even without having a place for him to go, I put him in a carrier and off we went to the vet.
This is where I learned he was a neutered male and he also is diabetic. Right now, he is in OC office while I get him regulated. Given his condition the vet told me if he stayed out there just a few more days, he would have likely passed away.
Will you or anyone you know consider adopting Howard? He is a lovely cat. Big (huge actually- he looks like he's part cougar) long, gorgeous eyes, great meow and very affectionate. He loves to roll on his side, give you eye “kisses” and kneed in the air.
I'm so grateful he was able to be rescued in time. He is a wonderful young cat who would make someone an excellent companion.
